The World Best Cheese Contest orchestrated by Tours Evenements, in collaboration with the Committee organization of the Competition and Rodolphe Le Meunier, World Cup expert advisor, is one of the highlights of the event. Many nationalities are present to compete and clinch the supreme title. Precision of gesture, daring presentation and harmonious compositions are the key words throughout the events.
In 2023, 16 candidates from 13 countries are faced in an attempt to win the coveted title.
After two days of competition, it is Vincent PHILIPPE (cheese dairy Maison Bordier (Ille-et-Vilaine) France) who wins the trophy. Silver medal was awarded to the American Sam ROLLINS (cheese dairy Cow Bell Fine Cheese, Portland, USA), followed by the English Nick BAYNE ( The Fine Cheese Co., Bath, UK) for the medal of bronze.
