Organised in collaboration with the International Cheesemongers Guild, this competition is eagerly awaited by sector professionals. It represents the occasion to promote a certain know-how, a respect of traditions, to aim for excellence and demonstrate creativity and innovation. In 2023, more than 1.500 cheeses were presented to a jury of 224 international professionals, chaired by Roland Barthelemy, Provost of the International Guild of Cheesemongers.
A supreme jury chaired by Stéphane Layani (President of the Rungis International Market) and composed of 12 international judges elected the Meilleur Fromage du Mondial: Epoisses Berthaut Perrière from Fromagerie Berthaut.
